Terms of Use

Please read these Terms carefully. They form an agreement between you and the operator of Realmkin concerning the production Realmkin website, Realmkin Player, games, communications, creator features when offered, and related services. These Terms apply whenever you access or use Realmkin.
1. Agreement and eligibility
By creating an account, installing Realmkin Player, joining a game, or otherwise using Realmkin, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services. A parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms for a user who is not old enough to form a binding contract where they live. The parent or guardian is responsible for the minor's use of Realmkin and for supervising communications, downloads, and account activity.
You may use Realmkin only where the service is lawful. You must provide an accurate birthday and must not use Realmkin if applicable sanctions, export-control rules, court orders, or local law prohibit your access. We may provide age-appropriate features and restrictions. Providing a false age to avoid a safety control is a violation of these Terms.
2. Accounts and security
You need a unique account to access the main platform. Guest accounts are not offered. Keep your password private, use a password not used elsewhere, and notify Realmkin promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. You may not sell, rent, transfer, share, or purchase an account, username, session, authentication token, or access method.
Usernames, display names, biographies, avatar appearances, friendships, favorites, and creator attribution may be public. Realmkin may reclaim or change names that impersonate another person, infringe rights, contain prohibited content, create security risk, or misleadingly suggest official status. An account holder remains responsible for activity performed through that account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
3. Platform and Realmkin Player
Realmkin grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the website and install Realmkin Player on devices you own or control. This license is only for lawful participation in Realmkin games. It does not transfer ownership of the software, platform, branding, source code, protocols, or services.
You may not reverse engineer, bypass security, interfere with service traffic, inject unauthorized code, automate account activity, scrape private data, distribute modified clients, defeat chat filtering, exploit vulnerabilities, or use Realmkin to test malware. Security research must avoid accessing another person's data or disrupting service and must be reported privately. Realmkin Player is the only supported way to enter a game; browser gameplay is not supported.
4. Twelve community rules
These rules apply to chat, profiles, avatars, game content, names, uploads, links, and conduct. Attempts, coded language, off-platform coordination, and encouragement may be treated the same as a completed violation.
- Protect children. No sexualization of minors, grooming, requests for intimate material, or attempts to move a minor into unsafe private contact.
- No sexual or exploitative content. Do not create, request, distribute, or simulate explicit sexual content, non-consensual intimate content, or sexual services.
- No threats or violence. Do not threaten credible harm, celebrate real-world violence, instruct violent wrongdoing, or depict extreme gore intended to shock.
- No hate or targeted harassment. Do not attack, dehumanize, exclude, or encourage harm against people based on protected characteristics, and do not repeatedly target an individual.
- Respect privacy. Do not expose personal information, share credentials, track another user, solicit precise location, or threaten to publish private material.
- No scams or impersonation. Do not misrepresent identity or authority, conduct phishing, promise false rewards, or imitate Realmkin staff, creators, or another user.
- No illegal or regulated transactions. Do not facilitate drugs, weapons, human exploitation, stolen property, gambling, money laundering, or other unlawful commerce.
- No cheating or exploitation. Do not use unauthorized software, macros, modified clients, injected scripts, bots, or vulnerabilities to obtain access or unfair advantage.
- No malware or service abuse. Do not distribute harmful code, overload systems, evade rate limits, manipulate discovery, create spam, or interfere with another user's device.
- Keep communications appropriate. Follow chat filters and age controls. Do not evade filtered words, direct users to social-media services, or repeatedly send disruptive content.
- Respect intellectual property. Upload only material you have the right to use. Do not copy protected games, characters, music, logos, or artwork without permission or a lawful exception.
- Follow game and platform rules. Obey lawful creator rules, moderator instructions, and regional restrictions, and do not help a suspended user evade enforcement.
5. User content and communications
You retain the rights you hold in content you submit. To operate Realmkin, you grant Realmkin a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, process, adapt for technical compatibility, display, distribute, moderate, and make your content available through the services. This license is limited to operating, securing, improving, promoting, and providing Realmkin and ends when the content is deleted, except for copies reasonably retained for backups, legal obligations, safety, dispute resolution, or content incorporated into another user's lawful creation.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for your content and that it does not violate law or these Terms. Public content may be seen, recorded, or reshared by others. Chat may be filtered, delayed, blocked, logged, or reviewed for safety. Filtering reduces risk but cannot guarantee that all harmful content is detected.
6. Creators and intellectual property
If creator tools become available, creators will be responsible for their games, code, assets, descriptions, age labels, moderation, and permissions. Creators must not include hidden data collection, malicious code, deceptive interfaces, infringing content, or mechanics that mislead users about official affiliation. Realmkin may test, scan, restrict, remove, or decline to publish creator content.
Realmkin names, logos, software, interface elements, and original materials are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. No license to use Realmkin branding is granted except as needed to truthfully refer to the service. Rights holders may submit a sufficiently detailed notice identifying the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, contact information, a good-faith statement, and a statement of accuracy and authority. Knowingly false notices may create legal liability.
7. Safety, moderation, and enforcement
Realmkin may use automated tools and human review to identify spam, unsafe communications, account abuse, modified clients, or other violations. Depending on severity, history, age, context, and law, we may warn users, filter content, limit features, remove content, reset names, restrict discovery, suspend access, terminate accounts, preserve evidence, or report conduct to appropriate authorities.
We may act without advance notice when necessary to protect users, evidence, systems, or legal compliance. Where an appeal process is offered, submit complete and truthful information. Repeated or abusive appeals may be limited. Blocking affects visibility and friendship features but does not replace reporting urgent safety concerns to local emergency services.
8. Purchases and virtual items
Realmkin does not currently offer currency, paid virtual items, subscriptions, or marketplace transactions. If those features are introduced, separate purchase terms, price disclosures, parental controls, refund rules, tax information, and region-specific consumer rights will be presented before payment. No current profile value, favorite, friendship, avatar color, or access record is money or property and it cannot be redeemed for cash.
9. Third-party services and open-source software
Realmkin may interact with operating systems, hosting providers, Discord Rich Presence, content-delivery networks, and open-source components. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Realmkin does not control an external service merely because Realmkin links to or interoperates with it. You are responsible for deciding whether to enable those services.
Open-source components remain subject to their applicable licenses. Nothing in these Terms restricts rights granted directly by an open-source license. You may not use third-party branding in a way that suggests sponsorship or endorsement.
10. Availability, updates, and termination
Realmkin is a live service. Features, games, compatibility, storage, and availability may change as the platform is maintained. We may issue required software updates, retire unsafe builds, conduct scheduled or emergency maintenance, migrate data, restore backups, or discontinue a feature. We will use reasonable care during migrations and provide notice of material service changes when practical.
You may stop using Realmkin at any time. Realmkin may suspend or terminate access for a violation, legal requirement, security risk, prolonged inactivity, or discontinuation. Provisions that logically survive termination, including intellectual-property protections, disclaimers, responsibility for prior conduct, and dispute terms, remain effective.
11. Disclaimers, liability, and responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, Realmkin is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device. Nothing excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Users are responsible for device backups, safe account practices, and evaluating interactions with other users.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Realmkin and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Any limitation applies only to the extent enforceable and does not limit liability that law does not permit us to limit, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or certain personal injury. You remain responsible for losses caused by your unlawful content, infringement, security abuse, or material breach.
12. Disputes, governing law, regional rights, and changes
Before filing a formal claim, you and Realmkin should make a good-faith effort to resolve the issue through the support contact published on the Realmkin website. These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the Realmkin operator, except that mandatory protections of the country or state where you live continue to apply. Claims may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction. Nothing here prevents either party from seeking urgent relief for account compromise, intellectual-property misuse, or system abuse.
Users in the European Union, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Australia, and other regions may have mandatory consumer, transparency, cancellation, or platform-review rights that cannot be waived. If a provision conflicts with such a right, it will apply only to the lawful extent and the remaining provisions stay effective.
We may update these Terms for safety, legal, technical, or product reasons. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, when appropriate, an in-service notice. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance where permitted by law; where consent is legally required, Realmkin will request it. Questions may be directed through the official Realmkin support channel identified on the website.
